House of Royal Asscher - Royal American Diamonds

Nearly a century after the Original Asscher Cut was introduced, Edward and Joop Asscher reinvented and revolutionized the look and the sparkle of the Asscher cut diamond by adding 16 additional facets together with the standard 58 facets - making the diamond reminiscent of the diamond from the Royal Imperial Crown of Great Britain.

This breakthrough resulted in a breathtaking 74-facet step-cut square diamond unlike any other diamond!  The difference about this new design element, which is now known as the Royal Asscher cut, the diamond absorbs light from every angle, creating a fantastic mirrored hall-of-light effect. 

The Royal Asscher Cut dazzles with the brilliance of a round cut while highlighting the prismatic fire of an emerald cut diamond.  This methodology in diamond cutting allowed us to carry on with our signature 74-facet tradition by introducing a new   Royal Asscher Cut diamond to continue our 172 years of leadership as diamond craftsmen.
